Washington hosts event marking 30th anniversary of US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce
An international conference titled “The United States-Azerbaijan Trade & Business Agenda: Connecting Markets–Building Future”, marking the 30th anniversary of the US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce is underway in Washington, the U.S. capital.
The Azerbaijani delegation includes Elnur Aliyev, First Deputy Minister of Economy; Orkhan Zeynalov, Deputy Minister of Energy; Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Inter-Parliamentary Ties; and Rovshan Najaf, President of Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR). Other officials include Jeffrey Kessler, Under Secretary for Industry and Security of the U.S. Department of Commerce; Reggie Singh, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy and Critical Minerals of the U.S. Department of State.
The event, aiming to advance bilateral trade and investment priorities, as well as shape the next phase of the US-Azerbaijan economic cooperation, gathers state officials, investors, and other interested parties.
