Azerbaijan to support implementation of ASAN Service model in Colombia

Azerbaijan will support the implementation of the ASAN Service model in Colombia, and Colombian civil servants will participate in experience exchange programs on innovation in public services, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev said at a reception marking Colombia's National Day, Report informs.

He noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Colombia, based on mutual trust, continue to develop dynamically.

Mutual visits and contacts have given additional impetus to bilateral cooperation and contributed to strengthening political dialogue, he added.

The deputy minister recalled that the sixth round of interministerial political consultations took place in April of this year.

Rzayev also emphasized the important role of interparliamentary cooperation.

He noted that interaction between the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan and the Congress of Colombia, as well as the activities of parliamentary friendship groups in both countries, contribute to deepening interparliamentary dialogue and strengthening mutual understanding.

He added that humanitarian cooperation remains a key area of bilateral relations.

Regular cultural events and other joint initiatives held in Azerbaijan and Colombia help peoples better understand each other's rich cultural heritage and promote intercultural dialogue, he said.
