Azerbaijan’s Baku State University and Kazakhstan’s Satbayev University ink MoU
Azerbaijan’s Baku State University and Rector of Kazakh National Research Technical University (Satbayev University) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation as the delegation led by Meiram Begentayev, Rector of Satbayev University visited the Baku State University.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation.
Highlighting the existing cooperation between the two institutions, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized that cooperation with Satbayev University includes a master’s double degree program in petroleum chemistry and could be expanded to other fields. He also highlighted academic exchange and joint education as key priorities.
Satbayev University Rector Meiram Begentayev touched upon the cooperation in research and innovation, emphasizing that joint research projects, coordinated scientific efforts, and applied results are of key importance. He also stressed the importance of enhancing scientific publications, researcher collaboration, and joint participation in international projects.
The meeting focused on cooperation between the Baku State University and Satbayev University, including joint research in science and technology fields, co-supervision of graduate students, joint publications, and new double degree programs.
As part of the visit, the delegation of Satbayev University toured the newly renovated infrastructure of the Baku State University.
