Novruz Festival held in Cassine (AL), Italy
On March 22-23, 2026, the next series of exhibitions was held at the Gallery created by the Sen1Sen Brain Center in the 17th century “Palazzo Mandrilli” in Cassine (AL), Italy. These exhibitions were dedicated to the Novruz Holiday under the name “Novruz Festival”.
The festival in question was held with the technical support of the Azerbaijani Diaspora Support Fund and its aim was to provide the Italian public with detailed information about the national holiday of our people, Novruz, and at the same time to introduce the works of Azerbaijani artists.

The opening of the festival was attended by the Mayor of Cassine, Mr. Carlo Felice Maccario, Head of the Milan Office of the Italian-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce, Irina Galimova, Founder of Sen1Sen Brain Center, Farida Guluzade, and representatives of the Azerbaijani and Turkish diasporas.
Three exhibitions (“Contrast”, “Traces of Tomorrow”, “Towards the Light”) within the framework of the Novruz Festival consisted of works by teachers and students of the Azerbaijan Academy of Arts. The other two exhibitions - “NovruzFest” and “Colors without Borders” - were group exhibitions of Azerbaijani artists, both children and open call.
The festival was met with great interest by Italian citizens and visitors. The Palazzo Mandrilli Gallery, which has hosted 19 exhibitions dedicated to Azerbaijani art, continues to act as a bridge of friendship and culture between Italy and Azerbaijan in the Piedmont region.
