Military Allowance to Increase Starting October 1st

Starting October 1st, an increase in the military allowance for service members is scheduled. An additional 50 million manats will be allocated from the state budget for this purpose, reported Vugar Bayramov, a member of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship.
According to the MP, the amount of the increase will be determined based on the service members' positions and military ranks, aiming to further enhance their social protection.

"The increase in military salaries is viewed as a continuation of the series of wage hikes carried out in 2026 across various sectors. Previously, the salaries of healthcare workers were raised. Furthermore, a decree signed this spring increased the financial maintenance of civil servants," V. Bayramov noted.

The committee member specified that current budget capabilities, along with the draft state budget for 2027, indicate that resources are available to continue wage increases next year.
According to the expert, more than 17 billion manats are planned to be allocated for social sectors in 2027, meaning the growth of social payments and salaries may continue in phases throughout next year.
