Tourism Potential of Lankaran and Astara Presented to Local Industry Representatives

On October 8–9, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board organized a familiarization trip to Lankaran and Astara districts for representatives of the local tourism industry.
A total of 50 tourism industry professionals participated in the two-day visit.
The purpose of the trip was to introduce local tourism industry representatives to the diverse tourism opportunities of the region on-site, and to assess the prospects for developing new travel routes and tourism products.
As part of the program, the participants visited local tourist sites and experienced firsthand the regional traditions of hospitality, tourism products, and available activities.
The familiarization trip was highly significant in terms of providing local industry representatives with a closer look at the tourism potential of both districts and expanding channels for future cooperation.
In the coming period, familiarization trips to other regions of Azerbaijan are also planned to be organized for local tourism industry professionals.
