Azerbaijan's tourism potential presented to the Pakistani tourism industry

Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) presented the country's tourism potential during a series of events held in the Pakistani cities of Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.
The events were attended by "Azerbaijan Airlines" CJSC (AZAL), three representatives of the local tourism industry, as well as Pakistani airlines "Pakistan International Airlines" (PIA) and "Airblue". The meetings brought together more than 360 representatives of the Pakistani tourism sector.
The program featured comprehensive information on Azerbaijan's historical and cultural heritage, winter tourism and ski resorts, as well as health, wellness, and ecotourism opportunities.
In addition, a special presentation was held regarding the declaration of Shusha as the Tourism Capital of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) for 2026.
During the business meetings between the tourism industry representatives of Azerbaijan and Pakistan, opportunities for cooperation and partnership between the tourism sectors of both countries were discussed.
