On November 5, the photo exhibition "Revival of Karabakh: History of the Azerbaijani Renaissance," dedicated to the sixth anniversary of the historic Victory in the Patriotic War, opened at the "Narimanov" station of the Baku Metro.

The photo exhibition was jointly organized by the Karabakh Revival Foundation and "Baku Metro" CJSC. It is based on materials from the book "Revival of Karabakh: History of the Azerbaijani Renaissance" by the well-known British writer and researcher Graham Wilson, written commissioned by the Karabakh Revival Foundation.

The exposition consists of photographs reflecting restoration and creative works carried out in the territories liberated from occupation under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the restoration of historical and cultural heritage, as well as Karabakh's picturesque nature, rare flora, and fauna.

Located in both passageways of the "Narimanov" station, the photo exhibition allows capital residents and guests to familiarize themselves with the modern appearance of Karabakh, large-scale restoration work, and the results achieved.

This new initiative of the Karabakh Revival Foundation aims to promote the revival of the liberated territories, introduce a wide audience to Azerbaijan's experience in restoration and development, and increase public interest in Karabakh's cultural heritage and nature.

By scanning the QR codes placed on the exhibited photographs, visitors can obtain more detailed information about the construction works in Karabakh on the Foundation's official website and also make a donation to support this process.

Thus, the photo exhibition gives visitors the opportunity not only to learn about the history of Karabakh's revival but also to contribute to the further development of the region.

Recall that this is the second joint exhibition project of the Karabakh Revival Foundation and the Baku Metro. The previous photo exhibition on the theme "Urbicide in Karabakh" was also demonstrated for a long time at the "Narimanov" metro station.

The new exposition was prepared based on materials from the "Karabakh.Center" internet resource, created by the Karabakh Revival Foundation at the initiative of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva. It featured about 90 photographs of our cities and villages, as well as historical, cultural, and religious monuments destroyed in Karabakh as a result of Armenian vandalism.
