Azerbaijan Hosts Familiarization Tour for Polish, Czech, and Hungarian Travel Agencies

From September 7 to 14, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) organized a familiarization tour to Azerbaijan for travel companies from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.

During the week-long visit, nearly 20 representatives from European travel agencies explored Azerbaijan’s tourism potential and visited key destinations, including Baku, Shamakhi, Sheki, and Gabala.As part of the tour, a series of B2B business meetings were held, bringing together the foreign delegates and over 60 representatives from local tourism companies.

The discussions focused on establishing new corporate alliances and expanding existing strategic partnerships.According to recent statistics for January–August 2026, tourist arrivals to Azerbaijan showed steady growth compared to the same period last year, with visitor numbers increasing by 14.9% from Poland, 5.6% from Hungary, and 0.2% from the Czech Republic.
