Azerbaijan’s top diplomat meets with Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia

On April 14, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin.

The meeting included discussions on the political, economic-commercial, and humanitarian aspects of Azerbaijan-Russia relations, as well as regional and international security issues of mutual interest. The importance of mutual visits and contacts in terms of discussing items on the cooperation agenda was emphasized.

The parties noted that the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia plays an important role in the development of bilateral economic ties. They held discussions on the progress made within this mechanism and explored prospective directions.

During the meeting, the officials also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest and reviewed the prospects for cooperation.
