Millions for restoration: who undertook to renovate the house-museum of Murtuza Mukhtarov?

Reconstruction of the house-museum of outstanding Azerbaijani oil magnate and philanthropist Murtuza Mukhtarov begins in Baku.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to valyuta.az, the corresponding work has already started under the direction of Bakı Şəhər Əsaslı Tikinti və Təmir LLC (Baku City Capital Construction and Repair).

According to the information, a contract was signed with Cronos Construction LLC to continue the reconstruction and improvement of the dendrological garden located in the Mardakyan settlement of the Khazar district of Baku (restoration and reconstruction of Murtuza Mukhtarov's house-museum). The company will be paid 7,040,948.92 manats for the performance of the above-mentioned work.

Recall that the territory where the dendrological garden is located previously belonged to the famous Azerbaijani oil millionaire Murtuza Mukhtarov. He created a large garden here, bringing various rare plants. Subsequently, an arboretum was created on the basis of this garden, which still attracts attention today with its rich variety of plants.

It should be noted that various procurement contracts were signed between the parties earlier as well. Thus, in 2021 and 2022, contracts were signed for major repair and restoration work in the administrative building of the Executive Authority of Baku. The company was paid 788,771 and 980,918.78 manats for this. Then, for the continuation of repair and restoration work, the company was allocated another 13,449,826.91 manats.

In addition, Cronos Construction LLC was selected as the winner of the tender announced by Bakı Şəhər Əsaslı Tikinti və Təmir LLC for the procurement of goods, works and services in connection with the major repairs at Pond Cafe, located on the territory of the Heydar Aliyev Center park.

In 2023, the same company carried out repairs and purchased equipment for the restaurant of the International Mugham Center (Ud Hall) and received payment for this in the amount of 245,847.69 manats.

And last year, a contract worth 4,382,508.88 manats was signed with Azerishig OJSC, and work was carried out on the construction of substation No. 34 with a capacity of 2x10 MVA 35/6 kV in the Sabunchi district and its connection to the existing network (transfer of input and output lines to the new substation).

We should add that the LLC was registered on May 26, 2014. The legal representative of the company with an authorized capital of 200,000 manats is Ilham Farrukh oglu Aliyev.

At the time of state registration, the legal representative was Rukhin Ramiz oglu Aliyev. During the investigation, it was found that he is currently the director of Intex Audit LLC. The LLC was registered in 2016.

There is no information about Ilham Farrukh oglu Aliyev in open sources.
