 Azerbaijan, UK discuss investments in AI data centers

  Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom have discussed deepening cooperation in investments related to artificial intelligence (AI) data centers, Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev said in a post on X, Report informs.

Nabiyev noted that the discussions took place during a meeting with Baroness Lloyd, UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and the Department for Business and Trade.

"At the meeting, we discussed a new stage of the Azerbaijan–UK strategic partnership, particularly opportunities to expand cooperation in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation," the minister said.

Nabiyev added that ideas were exchanged on developing human capital through joint programs with UK universities, scholarships, and digital academies.

 Azerbaijan, Dell Technologies discuss cooperation on data infrastructure

 Azerbaijan and the US company Dell Technologies have discussed cooperation in the fields of digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), and data infrastructure, Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev said in a post on X, Report informs.

The discussions took place during the minister's visit to the UK, in a meeting with Adrian McDonald, President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Dell Technologies.

Nabiyev also noted that exchanges of views were held on sovereign cloud solutions and AI capabilities in Azerbaijan.

 Azerbaijan and the US company ScaleAI have discussed opportunities for cooperation in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and the development of the AI ecosystem in the country, Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport, wrote on X, Report informs.

The discussions took place during the minister's visit to the UK, in a meeting with the company's representatives.

Nabiyev also noted that exchange of views was held on scaling AI projects in the short and long term, developing local talent, and building ecosystem partnerships.
