BTC pipeline transports over 36 million tons of oil in 2025

In 2025, Azerbaijan’s main oil pipelines transported a total of 36.306.2 million tons of crude oil, according to the State Statistical Committee.
The Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) main export pipeline carried 27.1792 million tons of oil during the year, accounting for 74.9 percent of the total volume transported during the period, representing a 7.77 percent decrease compared to the previous year.
Of the oil shipped via the BTC pipeline, 84.8 percent—approximately 23.056.9 million tons—was produced in Azerbaijan, while the remaining 15.2 percent—around 4.122.3 million tons—originated from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
