Today is the birthday of the first woman orientalist in Azerbaijan, PhD, Professor Aida Imangulieva

Aida Imangulieva was born on October 10, 1939 in Baku, a talented scientist, public figure, woman and mother. Azerbaijani Arab scientist and PhD devoted his life to the study of the culture and literature of the East. Knowing several Eastern and Western languages, her research and written works recommended her as a reputable scientist not only in the Soviet Union but also in other countries.

Aida Imangulieva is the author of three fundamental monographs ("Mikhail Nuaima and the Union of the Pen", "Jubran Khalil Jubran", "New Arabic Literary Korifes") and over 70 scientific articles.
