Azerbaijani, Russian FMs hold phone talk

On August 23, a telephone conversation took place between Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
During the telephone conversation, discussions revolved around the Azerbaijani-Russian bilateral and multilateral agenda, various aspects of political, economic and humanitarian cooperation, as well as regional and international security matters.
The foreign ministers exchanged views on the recent meeting of the Azerbaijan-Russia Intergovernmental State Commission on Economic Cooperation held on August 2 this year in Astrakhan, and commended the outcomes of the meeting.
During the phone conversation, the sides also discussed other issues of mutual concern.
