TANAP: 75 billion cubic meters of Azerbaijani gas on its way to Europe

The Azerbaijani TANAP gas pipeline continues to strengthen its role in the energy map of the region: since the beginning of operation, 75 billion cubic meters of natural gas have already been transported through it to Turkey and European countries. As it transmits Vesti.az This was announced by the TANAP consortium in its publications. TANAP, which is considered an important element of the Southern Gas Corridor, has become not just an energy project, but also a symbol of the strong strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
"Gas supplies via TANAP continue without interruptions, confirming the reliability and stability of this energy route," the report says.
It should be noted that the gas pipeline starts at the Azerbaijani-Georgian border, crosses the territory of Turkey and connects to the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) in the Ipsala region, Edirne province, ensuring the supply of Azerbaijani gas from the Shah Deniz-2 field to the European market. TANAP is 1,850 kilometers long and has a maximum capacity of 31 billion cubic meters per year, making it one of the key energy arteries of Eurasia.
