Farewell ceremony held for Azerbaijani People’s Artist Arif Babayev

On August 1, the International Mugham Center in Baku hosted a farewell ceremony for Azerbaijani People’s Artist Arif Babayev, who passed away earlier today.
The wreaths on behalf of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, as well as the state and government agencies were placed during the ceremony.
Adil Karimli, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture, the country’s prominent art, scientific, cultural figures, and MPs paid their respects to the late master of Azerbaijani Mugham art.
