Azerbaijani rowers secure nine medals at International “President Cup 2026” regatta

Azerbaijani rowers excelled at the international “President’s Cup-2026” tournament in academic rowing, kayaking, and canoeing, dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, winning nine medals.
The closing day of the ‘Kur’ Olympic Training and Sports Center events saw Azerbaijani athletes win 4 medals, including 1 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronzes.
The Azerbaijan national team concluded the tournament with a total of 9 medals — 2 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze.
The competition featured over 100 athletes from around 20 countries, while Georgia secured the team cup in both rowing and canoe events.
